Our Two-Part Southard Event Series Prepares You to Apply for a Home

Buying a home takes preparation; the process can sometimes feel overwhelming. But we’re here to help! This month, we are offering a two-part workshop series co-hosted with local non-profit Villa Comunitaria to help you prepare to apply to purchase a home.

The first event in the series will be a 'Southard Informational Zoom Webinar' on Thursday, January 11 from 6 to 7 PM. Attend this webinar to learn more about The Southard development and whether you qualify to buy a home through Homestead's affordable homeownership program. Our second event in the series will be an in-person 'Affordable Homeownership Application Workshop' on Saturday, January 27 from 4 to 6 PM on site at The Southard! We’ll show you how the application process works and give you support on gathering the documents and information you need for the application. Attend this workshop to get your application questions, with Spanish language assistance provided by Villa Comunitaria. (Refreshments included! Childcare not provided.)
